Real Estate Commissions Are Flexible—And Comflex Lets You Take Control

If you're thinking about selling your home in Durham Region, Toronto, or the Greater Toronto Area, you've probably heard that the standard commission for the buying agent is 2.5%. But here's the truth: that number isn’t set in stone—and with Comflex Real Estate, you have the power to decide what works best for you.

💡 The Myth of the “Standard” Commission

Many sellers assume they have to offer 2.5% to the agent representing the buyer. But in reality, real estate commissions are completely negotiable. There’s no law or rule that says you must offer a specific percentage. It’s your home, your equity—and your choice.

🏡 Comflex Gives You the Freedom to Choose

At Comflex, we believe in transparency, flexibility, and putting sellers in control. That’s why we allow you to decide what commission you want to offer the buying agent. Whether it’s 2.5%, 2%, or something else entirely, the choice is yours.

This flexibility can lead to significant savings, especially on higher-value homes. And the best part? You still get full-service support from experienced agents like James Bryant and Patrick Bryant, who will guide you through every step of the process.

💰 Why This Matters for New Home Sellers

If you're selling your home for the first time, the process can feel overwhelming—and expensive. Comflex makes it easier by:

• Reducing your costs without reducing your service
• Giving you control over how much commission you pay
• Helping you understand how different commission structures can impact your sale

You’ll never feel pressured to follow outdated “standards.” Instead, you’ll be empowered to make smart, informed decisions that work for your unique situation.
